As part of the Department’s mission to educate Kansans, Commissioner Schmidt has started a Mobile Office program to bring the work and services the Department provides directly to communities across Kansas. The goal of this program is to:
- Provide direct access to Department staff
- Educate Kansans about the work the Department does to regulate both the insurance and securities industries
- Receive and process on-site consumer complaints, fraud reports, licensing and registration applications, and inform the public on the resources available to them through the Department
- Better serve Kansans by listening to their concerns in their own communities
